As we all know that Pakistan is an Islamic country and blasphemy laws is to protect Islamic authority. It applies to not only on Pakistani Christians and other minorities, it is also applies to Muslims. The laws have been contentious since the formation of Pakistan in 1947, but have been especially in the spotlight since the case of Asia Bibi, were sentenced to death in November 2010 for insulting the Prophet Muhammad.
I am very shocked when is heard this news because it is very strange that an 11- year old girl burn the pages of holy Quran. The Officials of the Ramna police Station told that the girl, named Rimsha Masih, had burned a Noorani Qaida on August 16 and threw it in garbage after putting it in a plastic bag. Masih belonged to the rural area of Mehrabadi, which is next to the G-11 sector in Islamabad.
Soon after the incident, residents of the area had gathered to lodge their protest. The protesters also allegedly beat up the girl and her mother, while the rest of the girl’s family managed to escape.
The Kashmir Highway was also blocked by the protesters, but they dispersed after the police lodged an FIR of the case and took Rifta into custody.
The girl has been sent to a juvenile jail on judicial remand.
Now the ground situation is very bad, Christians had left their homes and they are hiding in different place whereas the family of Rimsha is also under ground. The local Muslims were in great frustration, and said that they will burn every Christian of slum area of Islamabad.
As a Christian I am not against to this law because it is the right of all Muslims to save their religion. But problem is this that many of our Muslim brothers are extremely angry and decide to kill all Christians. Try to explore that who is behind of this problem because killing to all Christians and burning their houses is not a proper solution of problem. I request to all Muslim brothers, sisters, higher authority and Muslim religion and political leaders, kindly investigate and check what the reason behind of this issue. It is very strange the 11-year old girl burn the pages of holy Quran. This age is very innocent age especially girls of this age are very innocent.

As a Pakistani Muslim it is very sad and disturbing for me to see Christian and Hindu brothers and sisters in pain and agony.
I believe that My Prophet ( PBUH)Surely would have forgiven that child.
